I really fell in love with comics, cartoons, and their characters at an early age. I remember teaching myself how to draw the characters and then drawing them over and over again. Every class throughout school became art class, countless drawings and doodles filled margins of notes and assignments. I really thought it was my calling in life. Then, when it was time to decide my future, most of my influences were in favor of me pursuing my academics, so I did and became a civil engineer. I've been civil engineering now for 15 or more years, but my passion for drawing has always remained.

This image of me hoisting the Stanley Cup is really just my head superimposed on Joe Sakic's body. I told my nephew I won the cup when he was 6 years old based on this picture, he believed me the entire time up until he was 13 when I decided to tell him the truth. Who knows how many people he told?

Fishing with friends

Interests

Along with drawing, some of my other interests are family, the outdoors, fishing, photography, football, and arrowhead collecting. My biggest interest, however, is the salvation of my soul through Jesus Christ. I love my Lord and am thankful for all the blessings I have received from him.

This image is of me displaying my catch at Montgomery Reservoir. Several parts were photoshopped, but NO...not the size of the fish.

World Series of Poker

A New Beginning

Around the turn of the year 2008, I met my future wife. She has been a huge blessing and perhaps the biggest supporter of my art. She pushes and encourages me all the time and without her, I am not sure I could've gone this far. Thank you Lisa.

I made this image around the time I met Lisa. It's my body superimposed over Phil Ivey's at the World Series of Poker. I sure am glad I played that hand. Three years happily married.

When I was a gangster

Internet Gangster

My goal here is to become the internet gangster of comics. Seriously, I just want to put smiles on peoples' faces.

Can you believe this animated gif was my profile picture on Myspace when I met Lisa?

Cast as Che Guevara in feature film

The Future

Personally, I already consider this endeavor a success, but who knows what the future might hold. Maybe cast in a feature film as Che Guevara. That other guy in this scene here is spot on!
